Infrared Sauna

Infrared saunas are an effective tool for natural healing and prevention. Infrared light has the ability to penetrate human tissue which in turn produces a host of anti-aging health benefits  If you want to get yourself back into balance, an infrared sauna is another way to help achieve your wellness goals.

Please keep in mind that these are a few benefits of the infrared sauna use, far infrared saunas creating a cure for or treating any disease is neither implied nor should be inferred.

Please bring a change of clothes. We will provide towels to wipe off but if you prefer to bring your own towel you can. While in sauna, please wear either a bathing suit or your undergarments. We do not have a shower at our location- so it is important to bring an extra set of clothes or undergarments to change into after sauna use.

A waiver and consent form will need to be signed before you can use the infrared sauna. Appointments only, our infrared sauna is for one person to use at a time. Sorry no groups. 

DETOXIFICATION
Sweating is the body’s safe and natural way to heal & stay healthy. Far infrared sauna benefits the body by heating it directly causing a rise in core temperature resulting in a deep, detoxifying sweat at the cellular level, where toxins reside.

The near infrared wavelength (sometimes referred to as Red Light Therapy) is the most effective wavelength for healing the epidermis an dermis layers of the skin. Near infrared treatments stimulate collagen production to reduce wrinkles and improve overall skin tone.

WEIGHT LOSS
Studies have shown that benefits of an infrared sauna session can burn upwards of 600 calories while you relax! As the body works to cool itself, there is a substantial increase in heart rate, cardiac output and metabolic rate, causing the body to burn more calories.

 LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE
Infrared saunas induce a deep sweat to make the heart pump faster, which in turn increases blood flow, lowers blood pressure and helps aid in circulation. Scientific evidence shows that the infrared sauna can help lower blood pressure when used a couple times a week.

Far infrared saunas creating a cure for or treating any disease is neither implied nor should be inferred. DO NOT attempt to self treat any disease with a far infrared sauna without direct supervision of a certified physician.

If you have any health concerns, be certain to consult with your physician before using a far infrared sauna.

In all situations, hydration is a requirement for sauna use. Drinking advanced electrolyte replacement water is also recommended before and after sauna use.

  • Sorry, smokers are not permitted in the sauna. The wood surface absorbs tobacco odor released from the pores of the body and will cause damage to the sauna and may cause allergic reactions to other clients.
  • Sorry, Pregnant women are not permitted in the sauna. Pregnant women should consult a physician before using the Solo® or any other type of sauna because fetal damage can occur with a certain elevated body temperature.
  • Sorry, Children under the age of 18 are not permitted in the sauna. The core body temperature of children rises much faster than adults. This occurs due to a higher metabolic rate per body mass, limited circulatory adaptation to increased cardiac demands and the inability to regulate body temperature by sweating. Consult with the child’s Pediatrician before using the sauna.
  • Sorry, No individuals who have a Pacemaker or Defibrillator are permitted in the sauna. The magnets used to assemble our units can interrupt the pacing and inhibit the output of pacemakers. Please discuss with your doctor the possible risks this may cause.
